Enticed to Ice Skate Cupcakes

Teal Icing Color, 1 oz.

Make candy skates. Cover cake board with waxed paper. Print out Ice Skate Template and place under wax paper. Melt Bright White Candy Melts candy according to package instructions. Transfer to parchment paper bag. Using scissors, cut very small tip in bag, about 1/32 in. in size.
Following template, pipe areas marked “1” on template. Let set, about 2 minutes. Pipe areas marked “2” on template. Let set, about 2 minutes. Pipe area marked “3” on template. Chill until set, about 5 minutes. Reserve any remaining candy.
Once skates are set, melt any remaining candy, if necessary, according to package directions. Place in parchment bag with 1/32 in. cut tip. Pipe laces on skates. Chill until set, about 5 minutes.
Spray small amount Silver Color Mist in bowl. Using decorating brush, paint blades of skates silver (you may need to do 2 to 3 coats to achieve correct shade).
Bake cupcakes. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cupcakes in white cupcake liners.
Tint icing. Using Teal icing color, tint 4 cups icing teal.
Decorate cupcakes. Prepare decorating bag with tip 1M and teal icing. Pipe swirl on each cupcake. Top cupcake with candy skate.
