Our edible cookie dough recipe is perfect for anyone who can't resist sneaking a taste right out of the mixing bowl! It’s easy to learn how to make our cookie dough without raw eggs so it’s is safe to eat. This treat is the perfect combination of butter, brown sugar, milk and vanilla, so you can dive right in with your spoon or add it to ice cream to create your own special dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened

  • 1/3 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 2 tablespoons milk

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 3/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

  • 3 tablespoons sprinkles

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Spread flour in an even layer on a prepared pan. Bake 8-10 minutes or until flour smells slightly nutty or toasted. Cool completely before use.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine butter and sugars. Beat mixture with an electric mixer on medium speed 4-5 minutes, or until smooth and light in color.
  4. Add milk, vanilla, and salt; mix well. Add cooled flour and continue to beat until flour is absorbed and dough forms, about 1 minute.
  5. Fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles. Enjoy!

Notes

    • The edible cookie dough will stay fresh for 3-5 days if refrigerated and several weeks if frozen.
