- Make front door. Use white icing to outline and fill in door. Pat smooth. Use white icing to outline door; use red tube icing to pipe stripes on outline. Attach candy for window and doorknob.
- Make all windows. Use white icing to fill in two windows on each side. Pat smooth. Use white icing to outline windows and windowpanes. Attach candy.
- Decorate house front. Attach candy under eaves.
- Decorate roof. Attach candy in alternating rows on roof. Use white icing to pipe zigzags on roof peak. Attach candy.
- Decorate base. Use spatula and icing to ice base fluffy. Attach candy for pathway and around house.
- Decorate candy cane cookies. Cookie #1—use spatula and white icing to ice cookie. Attach candy. Cookie #2—Use white icing to cover cookie with zigzags. Attach candy.
