Decorate roof. Use black icing and spatula to ice roof smooth. Use fondant roller with pink guide rings to roll out orange fondant. Cut fondant into 1 in. x ½ in. shingles; cut some with jagged edges. Use damp brush to randomly attach shingles to roof, beginning from the bottom up. Allow black icing to show through in some areas. Use black icing to pipe zigzags on roof peak and attach candy.
Make front door and all windows. Use purple icing to fill in door and windows. Pat smooth with finger dipped in cornstarch. Outline door and windows with black icing, and pipe in door window. Pipe cracks on house. Attach candy for doorknob. Attach candy and icing decorations to windows and front wall.
Decorate house. Use black icing to create pathway. Use purple icing to ice base. Attach candy around base of house and for pathway. Position icing decoration.
