Use the round pan from your Advance Select bakeware set to bake two cakes, ice with our cream-cheese based frosting and sprinkle with toasted coconut flakes for a crunchy finish.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 1- 1/3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon coconut extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon Wilton Almond Extract
  • 4 egg whites
  • 2/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sweetened shredded coconut
  • Icing

  • 1/2 cup sweetened shredded coconut or coconut flakes
  • 1/2 package (4 ounces) cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, softened
  • 3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Wilton Almond Extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
