NEEDED: See the Supply List for items you can purchase here. You will also need:
- China marker or grease pencil (optional)
- Cotton swab
Melt Candy Melts candy: Melt Candy Melts candy separately in decorating bags according to package directions. Cut off small tips of bags.
Pipe melted candy: Starting with melted red candy, pipe small amount of candy in each mold.
Helpful Hint: Use China marker on outside of silicone mold to mark five equal lines on each cavity. Fill red candy to first line, orange to next line, etc.
After piping each color, tap mold on counter to level and remove air bubbles. Use cotton swab to clean sides of shot glass to avoid cross over of candy colors. Let sit at room temperature for two minutes, or until candy is slightly set. Repeat with remaining colors: orange, yellow, green, blue and finish with violet. Let chill 20 to 30 minutes, or until candy is set.
Remove candy:Invert mold and carefully pull back silicone to remove candy. Let candy come to room temperature.
