Decorate cake. Prepare two decorating bags separately with tips 127D and 1G. Fill both bags with remaining yellow icing.
Starting at outer edge of cake with wide end of tip toward outside of cake, pipe row of dots using tip 127D. Continue around entire top edge of cake. Repeat with second row, piping dots about half way down, and in between, dots from first row. Repeat once more for three rows of dots.
Using tip 1G, pipe circle of stars at base of third row of dots.
