- Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool two cake layers. Level, fill and stack cake layers. Ice cake smooth, using tip of spatula to make diagonal marks on sides of cake and swirl on top of cake.
- Tint icing. Combine Teal, Kelly Green and Royal Blue icing colors to get dark turquoise color shown. Combine Teal and Sky Blue icing colors to get medium blue color shown. Combine Rose and Sky Blue icing colors to get medium and dark magenta colors shown. Combine Orange and Rose icing colors to get medium and dark coral colors shown. Using Kelly Green icing color, tint ½ cup icing light green. Tint ½ cup icing each dark turquoise, medium turquoise, medium magenta, dark magenta, medium coral and dark coral using color combinations provided.
- Prepare decorating bags. Prepare decorating bags as follows:
- Tip 225 – dark turquoise icing
- Tip 8 – medium turquoise icing
- Tip 18 – green icing
- Tip 1B – medium magenta icing
- Tip 2C – dark magenta icing
- Tip 1G – medium coral icing
- Tip 2F – dark coral icing
- Decorate cake. Pipe drop flowers, swirl drop flowers, dots, rosettes and stars around top edge of cake, alternating between all decorating bags.
