  1. Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cake in Wonder Mold pan.
  2. Tint frosting.

    • Tint 2 cups frosting dark grey by combining Delphinium Blue and Black icing colors to get the dark grey color shown
    • Tint 1/4 cup frosting black
    • Tint 1/4 cup frosting red
    • Tint 1/4 cup frosting light red
    • Reserve remaining frosting white
  3. Pipe the shark mouth. Prepare a decorating bag with red frosting and cut 1 1/2 in. tip off the end of the bag. Pipe upside-down crescent shape, forming inside of shark mouth. Smooth using tapered spatula.
  4. Frost cake. Prepare a decorating bag with white frosting and cut 3/4 in. tip off the end of the bag. Pipe around outside of the mouth, then bottom half of the cake. Smooth with spatula.
  5. Using a spatula, ice remainder of cake with dark grey frosting, carefully blending dark grey and white line.
  6. Pipe shark teeth and gums. Prepare a decorating bag with tip 3 and white frosting. Pipe teeth and smooth with a spatula.
  7. Prepare a second decorating bag with light red frosting. Cut 1/2 in. tip off the end of the bag. Pipe lines on top and bottom of mouth for gums.
  8. Pipe the eyes. Using the wide end of tip 1A, mark circles for eyes in the dark grey frosting. If desired, remove frosting from the circle.
  9. Prepare a decorating bag with tip 1A and black frosting. Pipe in eyes and pat down with finger dipped in cornstarch.
  10. Make the nose. Using a finger dipped in cornstarch, make nostril holes.
