  1. Bake donuts. Prepare donut batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool.
  2. Prepare glaze. Combine 2 cups confectioners’ sugar with 4 tablespoons milk. Mix until combined. Using Red-Red icing color, tint glaze red.
  3. Prepare donut decorations. In separate bowls, separate red jimmies and red nonpareils from 6 cells.
  4. Prepare pretzels. Carefully break pretzels into 1¼ in. sticks. Insert one pretzel into top of each donut.
  5. Dip donuts. Dip tops of donuts in red glaze, tapping slightly to smooth. Transfer to cooling grid. Immediately top with red nonpareils and red jimmies. Reserve remaining glaze for later step. Insert one pretzel into top of each donut.
  6. Make fondant leaves. Roll 3/8 in. ball green fondant into cone shape. Flatten with finger, forming leaf shape. Using craft knife, form indent in leaf. Repeat, forming 12 leaves (one per donut).
  7. Using knife, cut small slit in donut, near pretzel stem. Dip bottom of leaf into remaining red glaze, then insert into slit.
