  1. Bake cakes. Follow pan instructions to create “2” with pan inserts. Fill pan two-thirds full with batter. Bake and cool. Repeat for “0”, “1” and “6” cakes.
  2. Prepare cake board. Using cakes as patterns, cut cake boards 1 in. larger than cakes; wrap in foil.
  3. Ice cakes in white icing.
  4. Tint rolled fondant. Use Color Right base colors and QuickCount color formula to tint fondant in the following shade:
    • Winter Dark Blue – 72 oz. white fondant + 96 B + 48 R + 6 P
  5. Decorate sides of cake. Roll fondant 1/8 in. thick. Cut strips 2 in. wide. Attach strips to sides of the cake, trimming as needed to create seams at the corners. Roll remaining fondant 1/16 in. thick; cut strips 1/4 in. wide. Attach to edges where white icing and fondant side panels meet; trim at corners to fit.
  6. Decorate top of cake. Roll out remaining fondant 1/16 in. thick. Cut strips 1/4 in. wide. Attach to top of cake 1/4 in. from fondant strip on cake edge.
