Iced in creamy vanilla frosting then topped with Candy Melts candy, this cake is perfect for setting the birthday mood. Use Bright Pink Candy Melts candy to create the cake topper, then drizzle melted Turquoise Candy Melts on top of your cake for that trendy and fun drip effect. Bake cake. Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool two cake layers. Trim both layers to 2½ in. high. Fill and stack layers for 5 in. high cake.
Ice cake smooth.
Make cake topper. Print template. Melt Bright Pink candy according to package instructions. Place template on cake circle and cover with waxed paper.
Cut corner off pink pouch. Pipe VIBES on waxed paper, following template. Chill until set, about 5 minutes.
Decorate cake. Melt Turquoise candy according to package instructions. Knead bags to ensure candy is smooth. Cut corner off turquoise pouches.
Pipe melted candy over top of cake, allowing it to drizzle down sides. Immediately sprinkle top edge of cake with rainbow sprinkles.
As turquoise candy starts to set, attach pink candy letters.
