Bake cupcakes. Prepare cupcake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cupcakes in Sesame Street liners.
Tint icing. Prepare buttercream icing following recipe instructions. Tint ¼ cup icing each blue, yellow, purple, green and orange following color combinations provided. Reserve remaining white icing for later step.
*Combine Royal Blue, Sky Blue and Black icing colors to get blue color shown. Combine Golden Yellow, Lemon Yellow and Brown icing colors to get yellow color shown. Combine Violet, Rose and Black icing colors to get purple color shown. Combine Leaf Green, Kelly Green and Brown icing colors to get green color shown. Combine Orange, Red-Red and Black icing colors to get orange color shown.
Decorate cupcakes. Using remaining white icing, spatula ice cupcakes smooth. Prepare five decorating bags with tip 3 and fill separately with tinted icing.
Using e-motion technique, pipe swirl design around edge of cupcakes, alternating colors. Position picks in center of cupcakes. Arrange on cupcake stand.

E-Motion
E-Motion works best for bottom borders or western lariats. If you need to change positions while piping a border, push in tip at the end of the "e" and continue for a smooth look.
