Salted Caramel Pretzel Brownies

These ultra-fudgy brownies are topped with a layer of rich, creamy Salted Caramel-flavored white chocolate ganache. Pretzel bits are stirred into the brownie and then dusted over the top, providing a satisfying and salty crunch in every bite. Other brownies just don't stack up.

Ingredients

  • Brownie

  • 1 package (18.4 ounces) Brownie MIx

  • Ingredients to prepare brownie mix

  • 15 drops Treatology Flavor Extracts Kit, 8-Piece Food Flavoring

  • 1/4 cup roughly crushed pretzel pieces

  • vegetable pan spray

  • Topping

  • 4 ounces white chocolate, roughly chopped

  • 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream

  • Tools

  • Scoop-it Measuring Cups

  • Scoop-it Measuring Spoons

  • 8 in. Square Pan

  • large bowl

  • Mixing spoon

  • Toothpick

  • Medium microwave-safe bowl

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Prepare 8 in. x 8 in. baking pan with vegetable pan spray.
  2. In large bowl, stir together brownie mix and ingredients to prepare it, Salted Caramel Flavor and pretzel pieces until well combined. Pour into prepared pan. Bake according to mix instructions, or until toothpick inserted in center of brownies comes out almost clean. Cool completely on cooling grid.
  3. For topping, combine white chocolate and cream in medium microwave-safe container. Microwave at half (50%) power 1 minute; stir. Continue to microwave and stir at 30-second intervals, until chocolate is almost melted. Stir thoroughly until mixture is smooth. Add Salted Caramel Flavor and stir until well combined. Pour over cooled brownies, spreading evenly. Top with crushed pretzels.
