- Bake cupcakes. Prepare cake mix following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cupcakes in cake cones according to cone rack instructions.
- Prepare sprinkles mix. Mix 1 tablespoon Blue Sugar Pearls, White Nonpareils, White Jimmies, Pink Jimmies and Pearlized Coral Jimmies.
Decorate cones. Melt Bright White Candy Melts candy according to package instructions. Using spatula, spread melted candy on upper portion of cooled cones; immediately top with sprinkles mix.
Helpful Hint: Do this step over a cookie pan to catch all those runaway sprinkles!
Let set, about 10 minutes.
- Tint icing. Using color combinations provided, tint 1 cup icing each mango, poppy, magenta, fuchsia and lavender. Combine Copper and Rose icing colors to get mango color shown. Combine Rose and a touch of Copper icing colors to get poppy color shown. Combine Rose and Violet icing colors to get magenta color shown. Combine Rose and Sky Blue icing colors to get fuchsia color shown. Combine Violet and Rose icing colors to get lavender color shown.
Decorate cupcakes. Prepare 5 bags with couplers. Fill separately with tinted icing.
Using tip 12 to pipe base and tip 104 to pipe petals, follow rose technique to pipe a flower on each cupcake top (use the cupcake as the flower nail).
