Christmas Tree Spritz Cookies

Tree shapes are traditional to Christmas cookie baking, and these spritz-shaped cookies are brightened and bold decorated with Kelly Green Icing Color, Bright White Candy Melts Candy and White Sparkling Sugar. Fun to serve on holiday cookie platters and for everyday treats.

Ingredients

  • Classic Spritz Cookies

  • Kelly Green Icing Color, 1 oz.

  • Bright White Candy Melts Candy

  • White Sparkling Sugar, 8 oz.

  • Tools

  • 15inch Parchment Triangles

  • Preferred Press Cookie Press, 13-Piece

  • Holiday Cookie Press Disc Set, 6-Piece

  • Perfect Results Premium Non-Stick Bakeware Mega Cookie Pan, 15 x 21-Inch

  • Expand and Fold 16-Inch Non-Stick Cooling Rack

  1. Make cookies. Prepare Spritz cookie dough following recipe directions. Tint dough green. Fill cookie press with cookie dough. Attach tree disc and press cookies onto cookie sheet. Bake and cool cookies.
  2. Decorate cookies. Melt Bright White Candy Melts candy according to package directions. Prepare parchment bag and fill with melted candy. Cut a small opening in tip and drizzle melted candy over cookies. Add sparkling sugars on top. Chill until set, about 10 minutes.
