Class Description
Our 6-hour intensive workshop is designed for those who want to master the art of making perfect macarons with precision and flair. In this extended session, you'll dive deeper into the science and techniques behind creating flawless macarons. Under the guidance of classically trained pastry chef Korine, you'll refine your skills in mixing, piping, and baking, while also exploring advanced methods for perfect texture and shape.
This hands-on workshop includes:
- In-Depth Macaron Technique: Learn the key differences between the various macaron styles and techniques, from French to Italian meringue.
- Advanced Piping Skills: Master the art of piping with finesse, achieving consistently smooth, uniform shells every time.
- Flavors, Fillings, & Colors: Experiment with buttercream and ganache that you can customize to elevate your macarons.
- Troubleshooting Tips: Understand common pitfalls and how to avoid them, ensuring that your macarons come out perfectly every time.
By the end of this intensive workshop, you'll not only have perfected your macaron-making skills, but you'll also leave with a deeper understanding of the pastry's intricate science and artistry. You’ll create a variety of macarons, each more delicious than the last, and take home two boxes of your own beautifully crafted creations.
This class is suitable for macaron novices as well as those who want to elevate existing skills.
This class will include a 30 minute break for lunch. Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to store in the Studio break room refrigerator.
