Creative Candy Gingerbread Cottage

Make front door. Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick. Cut 1 ½ in. x 2 ½ in. door and attach to house. Roll out candy and cut ¾ in. square for window Use icing to outline door window and pipe dots above door. Attach candy on sides of door and for doorknob.
Make front windows. Roll out candy and cut 1 in. squares. Attach to house. Use icing to outline windows and pipe dots above windows. Attach candy.
Decorate house front. Attach candy under eaves.
Make side and back windows. Roll out fondant 1/16 in. thick and cut 1 ½ in. squares. Attach to house. Roll out candy and cut 1 in. squares and attach for windows. Use icing to outline windows and attach candy at corners.
Outline house. Use icing to pipe zigzags at corners of house and lines under eaves.
Decorate roof. Use spatula and apply icing to top third of roof with a wavy edge. Use icing to pipe zigzags on roof peak and attach candy. Use icing to attach candy to roof, pipe random dots and to pipe icicles on roof edges.
Decorate base. Use spatula and icing to ice base. Attach candy for pathway.
