- Bake cookies. Prepare cookie dough following recipe instructions. Roll dough to 1/8 in. thickness. Using heart cutter, cut out hearts. Bake and cool.
- Prepare icing. Prepare icing following recipe instructions. Prepare decorating bag with tip 8 and icing. Pipe icing on cookie, using spatula to spread and smooth icing.
- Decorate cookies. Using assorted sprinkles and nonpareils, decorate cookies, dividing cookies into thirds.
