- Melt Candy Melts? Candy according to package instructions. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Using a small angled spatula, swipe a thin coating of melted candy colors on parchment paper. If desired, overlap colors to create new ones when color swipes are blended.
- Chill candy until set, about 5 to 10 minutes. Break candy swipes into pieces, varying in size. Position candy pieces on treat, overlapping as needed.
- Note: Candy confetti will adhere to a freshly buttercream covered treat by pressing lightly on the confetti after placing it on the treat. If buttercream has already set or if adding confetti to a fondant covered treat, spread a very thin layer of piping gel over the crusted buttercream or fondant before adding confetti.
