Ingredients

  • Favorite Chocolate Cake Mix or Recipe

  • Lemon Yellow Icing Color, 1 oz.

  • Decorator Preferred White Fondant, 4.4 oz.

  • Buttercup Yellow Icing Color, 1 oz.

  • White Decorator Icing - 4.5 lb.

  • Decorator Preferred Black Fondant, 4.4 oz.

  • Tools

  • Non-Stick Cooling Grid - 14.5 x 20-Inch - Cooling Rack

  • Large Round Tip 2A

  • Recipe Right Muffin Pan, 12-Cup Non-Stick Muffin Pan

  • Decorating Bags, 16-Inch Disposable Piping Bags, 12-Count

  1. Make bees.Make 24 fondant bees using How to Make a Fondant Bee technique. Set aside.
  2. Bake cupcakes. Prepare chocolate cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool cupcakes in polka dot cupcake liners.
  3. Tint icing. Combine Buttercup and Lemon Yellow icing colors to get yellow icing color shown. Tint icing yellow using color combinations provided.
  4. Decorate cupcakes. Prepare decorating bag with tip 2A and yellow icing. Pipe swirl on each cupcake. Attach fondant bee to each icing swirl.
