  1. Supply List

    • Your Favorite Chocolate Cake Mix or Recipe (8 cups needed)
    • Perfect Results 8 in. X 2 in. Round Cake Pan
    • Creamy White Decorator Icing (9 lbs. needed)
    • Pink Icing Color*
    • Garden Colors 4-Pc Icing Color Set*
    • 9 in. Angled Spatula
    • Decorating Bags
    • Giant Rose Tip #127D

    *Combine Pink and Aster Mauve to get pink color shown.

  2. Bake and cool four 8 in. cakes. Level each cake to 1 ¾ in., fill and stack for a 4-layer cake, 7 in. high.
  3. Tint icing using formulas shown. Lightly ice top and sides of cake.
  4. Prepare decorating bag with tip 127D, fill with tinted icing. Pipe diagonal ruffles on cake sides.
  5. Pipe ruffle swirl in a clockwise motion starting from outside to center on cake top.
