  1. Preheat oven to 350ºF. Prepare a 6-cup standard muffin pan with vegetable pan spray.
  2. In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  3. In a medium bowl, whisk milk, dark brown sugar, egg, and melted butter until well blended.
  4. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients, mixing only until moistened. Do not overmix.
  5. Divide muffin batter evenly into prepared muffin pan cups.
  6. For the crumble topping, combine flour, dark brown sugar, and cinnamon. Cut in butter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over muffins.
